The firm was founded in 1953 as a partnership company. It steadily grew in stature and became private limited in 1957 and public limited in 1968.
The work of the firm extends over a broad specturm in the construction of R.C.C. and prestressed concrete bridges, industrial comples, steel structures, multi-storied buildings, jetty, pre-stressed concrete works and various types of deep foundation.
